Life Happens and Google Ain't

Due to technical and life issues beyond my control...

Some of my readers are aware of my recent caregiving duties for my mother. She has not had a good year in terms of health and I as the sole daughter have had my hands full.

Without notice to me, Google has also disabled one of my personal Gmail accounts. I have been noticing a large...no, make that HUGE, (LOL - those of us blessed with these repulsive spams are all too aware of that descriptive word) amounts of spam. In Gmail, there is a button to report spam which I have religiously done. Maybe the reason for the shut-down, but it would have been nice to have been alerted first.

Yesterday, I freaked out when I saw the disabled message when attempting to access my other email account, and I decided to temporarily shut off TT as well, as a safety measure. I have no idea if Google will decide to disable this blog as well. So far, my cowtownpattie address has been working, though it too has had a rash of spam.

Since my Google Adsense account was tied to the disabled Gmail account, I said to hell with the adsense crap. Besides, in all of nearly a year, I earned about $28.00.

Big Whoop.

Decided to tell Adsense to send their mouths way down south and kiss my hiney good-bye.

Thank you to all my friends (Tod, Joared, Hokule'a, Bill) who sent emails asking about the blog. I love ya all.

I'm very happy to have you back even if you can't post as often. And my best wishes for your mom and you and your beautiful family.

"Keep on truckin'" as they used to say when I was a kid.

Hope your mom gets better.

I fully understand how it is having been a caregiver myself and at this time in my life finding even reading a blog a treat let alone actually blogging. I was worried that somehow I had missed a change in your life, and wanted you to know that you remain in my prayers.

Blogger is pretty good and when they are good they are good but when its goes bad its a mess. Glad to see you on the air again.
