This coming Saturday, my daughter, Lara, will be getting married. So, beware, ye olde blog may suffer a bit as the week goes along.
The sisters and I have been checking out all sorts of wedding stuff on - where else?
YouTube, of course.
I tried to talk Lara and Laine into doing something like this with their wedding party, but so far, they have ignored me.
Or, maybe even something like this for a first dance!
And hey, future bro-in-laws, how about a rendition of this?
I bet they have something up their sleeves.
Stay tuned.

Well, congratulations to your daughter on her upcoming nuptials. Seems like the Internet can be an automatic wedding planner, what with gowns on eBay, honeymoons on travel sites and parts of receptions on YouTube.
If we had to do it again, we would probably eLope. :-)

I could have danced all night...
How wonderful, Pattie - congratulations and much happiness to all. Do we get to see your M. of the B. outfit?
We attended a wedding in the nineties where the men from the bride's family had an odd and longstanding custom for wedding receptions: they appeared in plaid boxer shorts and chef hats and did a dance routine. Too bad there was no YouTube back then!

Congrats to the MOB. Your family seems to be increasing by leaps and bounds with new son-in-law, not long ago a grandchild -- sounds like a busy summer in Texas. ;-)
