Don't Forget!

Tomorrow starts the great adventure!

If you want to join in the merriment (come one, come all!), then read up on the "rules" here.

You don't have to be a certain age to participate, you don't need no stinkin' degree, and you don't need mom's permission.

I hope I'll be able to catch some of you in "real time" tomorrow. And you'll certainly know when I've joined the conversation - my allergies are in full bloom - couple that with my Texas twang and it is music to nobody's ears.

Do you really have a "twang?"

Everybody in Texas sounds normal to me.

Surely do hope you're on when I'm there. Gosh...I wonder if I'll recognize your voice,...I mean, twang??? Is that the same thing as an accent? If accents are the order of the day, I think I'll adopt a British or Scottish one, or Irish brogue. Of course, I could just go with my own monotone voice.

My even making the scene depends entirely on how effective I've been in setting up my Skype connection. Given I didn't know what I was doing, but did something anyway, it should be interesting to see if it even works. :-)

Joared,

Bring any accent you choose! Just be there...

Bill, Texan is about as normal as they come, doncha think?

Delightful to chat with you today Pattie on the elderbloggers phonecon. Thank you for telling me that as a "newbie" to Texas, it is ok to talk a little Texan and to put anything we want on our chili! Such a gift to be able to hear the voice of a blogger and to share good talk and laughter.

For more chats across our backyard "airwaves", Marti

Marti - what fun we had! I hope I didn't hog the airtime. I am bad about that...

Very nice meeting you!

Pattie,
Well, I didn't hear any twang, y'all. But you have to remember she was talking to us from a stall in a public restroom, so maybe she disguised her voice! I'm fixin' to work on identifyin' a twang real soon, though.

Seriously, Pattie, it was fun talking with you for a few on the eldercon today.
