I'm fixin' to work on identifyin' a twang real soon, though.

Seriously, Pattie, it was fun talking with you for a few on the eldercon today.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5163970.post-1161716286444304052006-10-24T13:58:00.000-05:002006-10-24T13:58:00.000-05:00Marti - what fun we had! Thank you for telling me that as a "newbie" to Texas, it is ok to talk a little Texan and to put anything we want on our chili! Such a gift to be able to hear the voice of a blogger and to share good talk and laughter.

For more chats across our backyard "airwaves", MartiAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5163970.post-1161665025548269942006-10-23T23:43:00.000-05:002006-10-23T23:43:00.000-05:00Joared,Bring any accent you choose! Gosh...I...Surely do hope you're on when I'm there. Gosh...I wonder if I'll recognize your voice,...I mean, twang??? Is that the same thing as an accent? If accents are the order of the day, I think I'll adopt a British or Scottish one, or Irish brogue. Of course, I could just go with my own monotone voice.

My even making the scene depends entirely on how effective I've been in setting up my Skype connection. Given I didn't know what I was doing, but did something anyway, it should be interesting to see if it even works. :-)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5163970.post-1161655970633055912006-10-23T21:12:00.000-05:002006-10-23T21:12:00.000-05:00Do you really have a "twang?"Everybody in Texas so...Do you really have a "twang?"

Everybody in Texas sounds normal to me.Billhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15336938935929437116noreply@blogger.com
