Swing It , Boys!

DarkoV has an interesting post with random PC selections...

Which got me to thinking about weird vocalist/musician combinations (think Johnny Cash doing a Nine Inch Nails hit).

So, here's a few duos or compositions you are not likely to hear anytime soon (of course, deceased artists are not completely out of the picture, just listen to Natalie singing with her late and great Papa, Nat, on "Unforgettable"), but I would find as good possibilities:

Loretta Lynn and Neil Young singing "After the Fire Is Gone"
or conversely, "Southern Man"

Eddie Arnold and Tiny Tim together on "Cattle Call" and the flip side is "Tiptoe Thru the Tulips"

Cindy Lauper and Smokey Robinson crooning "The Tracks of My Tears" and "Time After Time"

Satchmo and Nora Jones duo on "Don't Know Why" and "What a Wonderful World"

Okay, now's it's your turn! Us Musical Mavens hafta stick together, ya know.
