This weekend those tiny canine speed machines return to Terlingua for the Racing of the Chihuahuas. All for a good cause and a chance to show off Tito and drink a few Lone Star beers. Read about it here. Check out last year's race and write up in the Desert-Mountain Times.
The resident chihuahua at our house, Bella, would be a champion at the races; her long legs and svelte racing form would be a money maker for sure. Alas, Terlingua is about 11 hours from Cowtown, and not exactly a weekend jaunt. But one of these days, Kman and I are going to head west for breathing room and sanity. Then, we can develop our own stable of racing chihuahuas! Any (AD)venture capital investors out there?
