Seattle's Version of Braveheart

One of the toughest new blogs I have had the pleasure to read, Paul Vs the Squamous Cell Monster, gets my vote for a great source of inspiration. His wife, Kimberly, has her own blog, Music and Cats and shares her partner's eye view of Paul's recuperation. An astute political commentator, Paul mirrors my own feeling of governmental disgruntledness over at Ratiocination. Kimberly is also a Texas expatriate. She calls herself that. I say, once a TEXAN, always a TEXAN. You can take the woman out of Texas, but you never take the Texan out of the woman. Given how strong and tough she has been with the hand she and Paul were dealt, I would like to believe that her Texas roots were an important part of her recipe for survival.
