Down the Rabbit Hole With The White Rabbit

To gently remind my patient readers, I blogged a few days ago about the spectacular time you can have at your local Social Security Office. Well, I have a wonderful update:

GOVERNMENTAL DRONES* HAVE SINGLE DIGIT IQ'S. IT IS A REQUIREMENT FOR THE JOB. ONLY THOSE WORKERS POSSESSING FIRST-GRADE LEVEL SPELLING AND READING MASTERY, ATROCIOUS SOCIAL INTERACTION SKILLS, AND MINIMAL BRAIN CELLS NEED APPLY.

*There is the occasional rare exception, like my very smart friend, Melinda.

Got my spanking new SS card in the mail today. My newly aquired surname has been made plural with the placing of an erroneous "S". Which obviously stands for Sucks, as in Social Security Office Sucks.

Joy of Joys, I get to go back down that governmental rabbit hole of confusion to repeat the whole paper process in an attempt to remove a single, solitary "S". This time, I will don my best black satin high-top hat, and add a large bow-tie to insure the little lady behind the glass is aware I am just as dangerously crazy as all the other denizens of the Federal Building.

Stay posted. Surely for my efforts, I can find another nutty story to bore you with about my second visit to Social Security Shangri-La.

Vote Republican. The GOP promises to clean up the Social Security office in Ft. Worth and make it a model of efficiency!! :>]

Oh, Pancho! How soon you forget your friend, Lefty.

Sorry, but I don't buy that, nor any ocean front property in Arizona. At least, not until I see very major cataclysmic events in California.

It is more likely that the Republicans will close Social Security down and use the money to pay for their convention in NYC

I've tried to resist saying this, but I can hold out no longer--this is just another reason why changing your last name upon marriage is a bad idea. ;-)

Ah, politics still prevails...

But did you know it's a fact that those who do not measure up to the standards of federal government employment can still find work at the Unemployment Office or DMV?
