I just added an audio blog! Kman and I are just playing around with the computers tonight, and I discovered Audio Blog. Okay, so my first audioblog is not my own lovely Texas-twanged words. I shall try that soon, but like Rudolph Valentino who sucked when silent pictures added sound, it is possible I might send some of my readers grabbing the volume knob on their speakers.
Do you remember the first time you saw yourself on home video? Lawdie, lawdie, Miss Claudie, I cringed at my own voice, heavily laden with that undeniable Texas accent. Home video is a cruel invention.
I have visions of sounding like the crisp, perfectly enuciated voices on NPR, like Nina Totenberg. Ain't gonna happen, so I just might as well find joy in that fact that no one could mistake me for anything less than a Texan.
