As a Texas history nut, this little jewel is like finding the perfect pecan! Cabeza de Vaca's La Relacion
Many years ago, in another galaxy ( or so it seems) I lived on the Texas coast close to Indianola where the recent discovery of LaSalle's ship is an ongoing preservation site . The coastal cities are rich with histories of bold explorers as well as the stories of Everyman. When I grow up, I want to be a worker on a dig/find like the LaSalle ship. History is my chocolate, and Texas history is chocolate with....pecans!
