I subscribe to Goodreads, and while perusing the works of James Lee Burke, I came across this video. I love listening to Burke, he should consider doing his own audio books, if he hasn't yet. Interesting stuff, but when he gets to around 7:30 on the clip, he tells a brief but terrific story about LBJ. Worth the listen:

I love James Lee Burke's books. His imagery is downright poetry!
That guy makes you believe he was made to tell stories. Nice bit of narrative there, CP. As a long time reader I was especially charmed to hear him say he basically writes the same story (The Holy Grail) over and over again.
