I get it.
But, I am forever clicking through videos - hooked on the next juicy morsel. One thing leads to another, and before I know it, I've spent an embarrassingly large amount of time binging on media junk food.
No matter; I am delighting in the nostalgia brought on by watching these old televison shows. And you gotta agree, the Carol Burnett Show delivered the best comedy skits in the business, bar none. I know there have been lots of eulogies for the late Harvey Korman and thinking about him prompted me to surf YouTube for old clips and outtakes.
The Flasher outtake below has me snorting spit everytime I watch it. You ever get so tickled that you are almost crying with laughter? Tears running down your cheeks and simultaneously struggling with the inability to control your facial expressions for the mirth?
That's what the cast of this terrific show does for me.
What makes these outtakes even more delicious is watching Burnett and Company succumb to the moment themselves. Wouldn't you have loved to be a part of this television family?
And no matter how many times I watch Tim Conway's elephant story, I get a serious case of the giggles.
It starts and picks up again, so be sure to watch to the very end. The last line is a killer!
