Pretty sure this plant is a member of the jimson weed family.
The plant is about 4 feet tall already. I love the huge trumpet blooms....

it does not look exactly like the jimson weed that i am familar with.

this may be a Brugmansia instead of a datura. they do come in the color pink which daturas do not. also datura trumpets point up instead of down. they are a related plant. check the google images and see if they don't match

Gorgeous Pattie. Can't believe it would even have the title "weed" in the name.
I need to study up on plants and flowers. That would be an intersting new hobbie for me.
