How better to celebrate the longest night of the year, the winter Solstice?
I know!
Here's a non-traditional way to be happy on December 22nd (and, it's Kman's birthday...the proverbial two birds with one stone - or should that be two stones? *insert mischievous grin*)
Mark those calendars and set out those scented candles!
Thanks to Mr. Bleak Mouse for the tip o'tha Stetson this week.

Is that picture captioned, "Well, you can kiss my moon!?!?" Or did I completely mis-spell "moon"?
I put up my Christ Mass tree - nice lil evergreen pointing up to heaven and bedecked as befits Ishtar in all her glory. Okay, I'm confusing my paganism here, but it sure beats climbing the Calton Hill with a bottle of Glenmorangie which is what an old boyfriend used to do. "Let's stay in by the fire," I would beseech. "Nah," he'd say, "that's Beltaine".
We only use scented candles when trying to hide an odor in the bathroom. Not quite as universally romantic, eh?

Well, I thought the plan earlier in the year to get the earth straightened around on it's axis by having everyone on our planet jump up in the air at the same time was quite innovative to say the least, but have never heard how successful it was.
Now, you present this unorthodox way to celebrate the Winter Soltice...what will someone think of next! ;-)
Okay, Pattie - have to send a few friends over here to read about this idea... they might have enough positive energy to make a difference.
