Many apologies to readers/commenters here at TT.
Bad news: I have been tweaking my template, trying to go back to using Blogger commenting since Haloscan sticks weird ads on visitors comments. In the process, I have caused the Haloscan comments to "disappear". My template html looks like a Halloween fright house. Most of my html coding skills consists of "paste it in somewhere and see if it works" - a kind of seat-of-the-pants programming.
Good news: there isn't any, except I can still see the old comments at my Haloscan account.
I will, however, be fair and impartial in regards to the recent cowboy voting. Alas, my own choice is not in the lead. Deja vu to most political elections in which I participate.
Yes, Roy seems to be my readers' choice.

Sorry you're having all that difficulty with comments posting. I feel such sympathy for you, that I will forgo any comments that might be considered gloating. Now that the voting is over, I'll even admit that my husband had persuaded me to like Gene as much as I liked Roy.
Holoscan does have some strange ads but I have stayed with it because it helps blog spammers and I despise that code stuff on blogger to block spammers. And on top of that I am gunshy about messing with my template..I have messed it up too many times.
Cut and paste and see if it works? Yep, I do that all the time and it's amazing how often it does work. I also used to keep a complete copy of my template code in a notepad file and then if I really fudged it up I could paste THAT back in.
