Who Is Cowtown Pattie?

Sway Me Smooth, Sway Me Now

I have never learned to tango or mambo, but the new Richard Gere movie makes me want to dress up in stockings and high heels, put a rose between my teeth and dance to the tune by Julie London below:

Sway

Ever since I was a little girl and watched in fascination as the smooth steps of Ginger and Fred made dancing magical, I have wanted to be that graceful partner in a billowing satin skirt and wearing sexy high heels with tiny ankle straps. Put my hair up in a french twist and wear Max Factor lipstick in Rhumba Red.

How many Corona's does it take to get Kman on the ballroom floor? The world and Pattie may never know...

Maybe if you give him something stronger...a couple of stiff double shots of bourbon usually do the trick for me!

Lovely tune, by the way!

It warmed my heart to heard that old wonderful tune. There are many things that I miss about being a widow, one of them is not having a dancing partner. My husband and I loved to dance, jitterbug, foxtrot, rumba, tango, we did them all. Whenever the opportunity presented itself we would take dancing classes or go to a dance. We were not great dancers but we sure had fun!
