Google Loves Ocean Pollution

This is tough. I am an avid user of Google. I love the new Tool Bar with the pop-up stoppers. But it surprises me to see this over at Oceana.

If you feel strongly enough, your letter to Google would be most helpful. Even if it is not taking Oceana's viewpoint, I am sure those in charge at their organization would like to hear your opinion.

I am considering sending a separate letter to Google, without using the nice template over at Oceana. The powers-that-be over at Google may just be rapidly punching the old delete button when they get these "cookie cutter" type letters.

While I would love to take a cruise, I cannot in all good conscious contribute to what is a very serious concern for scientists studying our oceans. I find it ironic that all the hoopla over "The Passion" - Mel's cinematic foray into religion - can generate such outrage, when something in your own world is in need of a crusader for real.
