I think more than any other musical performer (less the Beatles), JT puts my entire life since about the 11th grade in big parentheses.
I have a photo of me in my senior graduation cap and gown taken in our living room. On the floor beside my chair is an album rack with the Sweet Baby James cover forever dating this event in my life.
JT is the music I turn to in a dark mood, in a happy mood, in a melancholy mood. His talent is immeasureable. The many songs through the years are like old friends. A James Taylor cd is always in my caddie. A true balladeer with a voice that both soothes and excites. Songs with lyrics that speak to me personally.
If I thought I might be able to get a letter to James, I would thank him for his contribution to many memories through the years. From a sincere fan.... Thank you, Sweet Baby James.
