Funny, how trivial things pop into your head. Today I was unpacking a box with company stationery. The box was filled with the dreaded styrofoam peanuts - you know, the ones that are electrostatically charged and stick to every thing known to man. As I stood trying to shake the darn things loose from my hands and arms, I thought of Mr. Wizard. "I would like to ask Mr. Wizard what makes these little pieces of modern science so pesky! "
Some of you younger bloggers remember Don Herbert show on Nicklelodeon. But, Mr. Wizard was around a long time before that. I didn't watch it regularly, but he always had the coolest stuff. And, he never "talked down" to his audience. Too bad the public school system doesn't have more teachers like Mr. Wizard.
